Typical Usage 

It is an alloy with high mechanical strength, good corrosion resistance and favorable castability. It can be machined and is less readily machined than leaded compositions. It is used for mechanical devices; gears, levers, brackets, valve and pump components for fresh and seawater service. When used for high strength bearings, it require hardened shafts.
